Support throughout the day

The Slim’s programmable handset allows you to swiftly adjust from a minimum tabletop height of 26.5" to a maximum of 52.25” (perfect for average and taller people). Recent studies in workplace ergonomics recommend that for every hour, spend 40 minutes sitting and 20 minutes standing. When you're at work (whether sitting or standing), keep your screen at eye level; your wrists are straight and parallel to the desk surface.

Slender Storage

The Slim’s three drawers are perfect for quickly stowing your daily equipment (2” approx) before meetings, ensuring you have everything you need to hand. There’s also a cable management housed in the back. The Slim pairs beautifully with the Evolve File Cabinet.

The desk case is handcrafted to order in your choice of hardwood finishes.

The desk is protected with a beautiful, highly durable, water-based, and low-VOC urethane finish. By special request, the table top can be finished with Rubio Monocoat - a molecular binding coat that is awarded Eurofins indoor air comfort gold standard.

Drawers

Drawer fronts & cord doors can be made in the same finish or a different accent color.

Base

The base is available in black, gray or white.

Sustainability

Are these desks made to order?

Yes, we handcraft each desk to order, so please allow us time to construct your desk. If there are any time considerations or special circumstances regarding your order, please let us know right away so we can take care of you. We can sometimes prioritise desk orders if requested. This incurs an additional fee to pay our workers for overtime.

Is the back of the desk in the same finish as the front?

Yes! The back of the desk will appear very similar to the front – the idea is to allow use in a range of interiors - whatever setting or space you require.

Is there any assembly required with the desk?

Yes, but it’s extremely straightforward. The desk ships in two separate sections. The assembly level is in line with a flat-pack furniture project with a quick assembly of the frame and then attaching the desktop to the frame with a screwdriver.

Are you the designer?

Yes, I am – I have been a woodworker since I was a kid (I’m now in my 40’s). I have a passion for art & design and a couple of engineering degrees. My furniture is a mixture of those experiences. I design, and we make everything in our shop in Benton Harbor, Michigan.

What kind of wood is it?

We make the desk bodies out of solid walnut, cherry, white oak, or maple. We use baltic birch plywood for drawer boxes and internal parts (where appropriate).
